Au cours de cette période, il a passé une année à la FINUL (Force Intérimaire des Nations-Unies au Liban) et 4 mois en Guyane avec pour mission la lutte contre l'orpaillage clandestin et la protection du site Ariane Espace à Kourou. Geoffroy le Bigot a ensuite rejoint la Gendarmerie Nationale au sein de laquelle il a commandé un Escadron de Gendarmerie à Mobile à Aubervilliers puis la Compagnie de Gendarmerie Départementale à Saint-Malo. Ayant décidé de quitter l'institution pour offrir ses compétences à une entreprise privée, il a dirigé un magasin FLY pendant deux ans puis a rejoint le siège du groupe Saint-Gobain comme Responsable de la sûreté et de la sécurité, poste qu'il a occupé pendant 8 ans. Security Manager chez Avis Budget Group pendant 3 ans, Geoffroy le Bigot a par la suite successivement été Directeur d'exploitation chez Transev puis CAT LC, une entreprise de logistique.
