Sylvia Pariente is a member of MENA2050, a regional organization promoting regional development in the Middle East and North Africa. She has more than 20 years of experience in the management of major projects in Africa, where she held top positions, both for the private and public sectors, in fields as varied as agri-food, infrastructure (ports, oil platforms, telecoms, etc.), water treatment, sanitation and waste management.
Over time, Sylvia Pariente has built a highly qualified pan-African network. In January 2021, as decarbonation and energy transition became major international challenges for Africa, as well as a tremendous opportunity, she naturally joined DS & Associates (KORU), a major player in Africa.
This collaboration has led to the construction of the African Blue Carbon Project (ABC) for the continent. To date, up to 5 African countries are committed to the project.
